- About Farah Farouk
Farah Farouk is a Trainee Solicitor at Karam, Missick & Traube specialising in Commercial and Residential Real Estate. She joined the firm in 2021 as a Paralegal assisting the Real Estate and Commercial departments.Â
Farah predominantly assists within the Real Estate department, and has an extensive range of experience in property conveyancing matters, both in Residential and Commercial transactions.
Her expertise includes working on development projects such as student accommodation for domestic and overseas corporate clients. She further assists on general acquisitions and disposals including legal due diligence up to conclusion of the sale and purchase of existing properties, and dealing with refinancing property matters. Â
Farah’s Real Estate experience extends across retail, industrial, office, and leisure sectors and includes acquiring property in the course of development or requiring conversion/refurbishment. Her approach is based on a detailed understanding of deals, close appreciation of clients’ requirements and priorities, and responding to the demand for speed and efficiency.   Â
Farah graduated with LLB (Honours) from the University of Kent following which she completed her Legal Practice Course alongside a Master of Laws, specialising in Banking & Debt Finance Law from the University of Law. She is due to qualify later this year.
In her leisure time, Farah is busy channelling her inner culinary genius, transforming her kitchen into a Michelin-starred paradise. When she hangs up her chef’s hat, she enjoys exploring the seas of the world whilst snorkelling. She also enjoys playing a wide range of sports, including football and basketball.
Farah is fluent in English, Urdu and possesses a basic understanding in Arabic.Â
